I have a background in community service, having spent 22 years working as an NSW Police Officer. I am a people person. During my service, I saw firsthand how important financial security is, to individuals and their families:
I have seen people remain in unsafe situations as they feel trapped due to finances.
I have seen people work hard all their lives, to retire with nothing.
I have seen people suffer accidental injury, illness and misadventure, and have nothing to fall back on.
